Description
Athletic wrap tape that sticks to itself and not to your skin: a cohesive elastic bandage in 14 colors for wrists, ankles, knees and tape-over-tape jobs on fingers. Each roll is 5 cm wide and stretches to about 4.5 meters, tears by hand and peels off without pulling hair or leaving residue, which makes it the tape most grapplers keep in the bag next to their finger tape.
Why athletes choose it
Cohesive wrap holds compression without adhesive on the skin, so it can go on over hairy forearms, over a sore ankle before class or over a layer of rigid finger tape to keep the edges from lifting during gi grips. It is lightly elastic, which means you control the tension: wrap loosely for a reminder on a tweaked wrist, firmer for support after a sprain has been checked by a professional. The colors are useful too, since teammates can tell their rolls apart and coaches use colors to mark positions in drills. It is the same type of wrap trainers use on ankles and under boxing hand wraps.
- Sticks to itself, not to skin or hair
- Elastic, adjustable compression
- Tears by hand, no scissors
- 14 colors, 5 cm x 4.5 m stretched
Fit and sizing
One roll is 5 cm (2 inches) wide and about 4.5 meters long when stretched, which covers two ankle wraps or four to five wrist wraps. For fingers, tear a strip lengthwise to get a narrower band, or use it over 8 mm finger tape rather than on its own. Apply with the roll close to the skin, unrolling as you go, and overlap each turn by half the width. It should feel snug, never tight; if the skin beyond the wrap tingles or changes color, rewrap looser.
Care
Single use: once unwrapped the tape loses most of its cohesion. Store rolls in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, which degrades the latex-free coating. Keep the pack sealed until needed and the rolls will stay fresh for a year or more.

FAQ
What is the difference between athletic wrap tape and finger tape?
Finger tape is rigid cotton with a skin adhesive, used to limit joint movement. Wrap tape is elastic and sticks only to itself, so it provides compression and holds things in place without pulling skin. Most grapplers use rigid tape on the finger joint and cohesive wrap over the top or on larger joints.
Can I use cohesive wrap on fingers for BJJ?
Yes, but it works best over a layer of rigid finger tape, where it stops the edges from lifting during grips. On its own it is too stretchy to limit joint movement. Tear a strip lengthwise to get a narrower band for a single finger.
Does it stick to hair or skin?
No. The coating bonds only to itself, so it can go directly on hairy forearms, calves or over a rash guard sleeve and comes off by unwinding, with no residue. That is also why it is single use; once unwrapped it will not re-stick well.
Can I wrap an injured ankle or wrist with it?
Cohesive wrap gives light compression and support and is what athletic trainers reach for on the sideline. It is not a substitute for a diagnosis: if a joint is swollen, unstable or painful to load, get it checked before training on it. Wrap snug, never tight enough to change skin color.
